Stem Cell Therapy

Stem cell therapy is a non-surgical treatment that uses stem cells to replace or repair damaged tissues or cells. For decades, stem cell therapy has been employed for the treatment of leukaemia and certain blood and immune system disorders. This form of therapy has resulted in thousands of lives being saved. Over the years, research into stem cells has uncovered their potential to repair and replace tissues and organs that have suffered the effects of aging or damaged by disease. On the back of this development, stem cell therapy is increasingly being trialled in conjunction with chemotherapy for the treatment of cancer, as well as for personal health management and the treatment of disabilities and injuries. PRP Therapy

SPRP therapy harnesses the body’s natural healing abilities to repair damaged tissues and reduce inflammation. In the course of the therapy, a small sample of blood is first drawn from the patient. The platelets are then separated from other blood components. This concentration of platelets is then injected into the part of the patient’s body that requires treatment. This treatment is generally applied for the healing of injured muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints. The healthy tissues are regenerated within a few weeks and symptoms should continue to improve over the following three to six months.
